Facilities include personal
washbasins, if required a colour
television. A telephone can be installed by BT if a resident requires their
own line, or a portable phone can be made available for local calls. The
lovely communal dining and sitting rooms have extensive views over our own
expansive gardens and farmland reaching the horizon. They are all pleasingly
decorated and furnished. There is a large screen colour television in the
main sitting room. A quieter area for reading, relaxing or entertaining is
made available in another sitting room. A further sitting area is provided
for in the dining room. A stair lift is present to help assist our residents
to the bedrooms on the 1st floor. Other specialist equipment includes bath
hoists in three bathrooms and a Dolphin disabled bath/shower. There are
emergency call points in all rooms and many other discreet aids to assist
our residents with their daily living.
Meals are home cooked and a varied nutritious
menu is offered. In addition, facilities are
available for residents to make their own drinks
and for visitors at any time of day. Special
diets will be provided for on request.
